Tyler Ferris
President / CEO
Tyler Ferris, President and CEO of Northland Financial Group, brings over 21 years of expertise in the insurance and financial sector to his financial education classes. Tyler recognizes that retirement brings new challenges and strives to simplify the many steps of a successful retirement in both his classes and one-on-one consultations. His work is driven by honesty and integrity, focusing on breaking down the complex estate planning issues. He is a multiple qualifier for the prestigious MDRT award.
A graduate of Grand Valley State University, Tyler and his wife Allison reside in Williamston, MI, where they are raising three young children. In addition to his professional commitments, Tyler is deeply involved in his community, coaching youth sports, participating in charity events, and attending church functions. He also competes in local fishing tournaments, as well as national-level competitions with Bassmaster.
Bob Browning
Co-Founder/Vice President
Bob Browning is Co-Founder and Vice President of Northland Financial Group, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry to his work with individuals and families. With a strong commitment to education and client service, Bob helps simplify the complexities of retirement planning, wealth preservation, and estate strategies. He believes informed clients make confident decisions and is dedicated to breaking down financial concepts into practical, easy-to-understand steps. Guided by integrity and a client-first philosophy, Bob works closely with each individual to develop strategies designed to support long-term financial security and peace of mind.

A graduate of Grand Valley State University, Bob resides in Twin Lake, MI with his wife, Lindsay, and their two children. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting his family by watching his kids play hockey and softball. An avid hunter and fisherman, Bob also loves hiking and spending time along Lake Michigan, taking full advantage of Michigan’s great outdoors.
